Direct Support Professional
The Direct Support Professional is a worker qualified to provide companionship, mentorship, community support, carry out health care tasks, assist with personal hygiene, minor housekeeping (not to exceed 20% of the assignment hours) and other related supportive tasks to the individuals with developmental disabilities within the home and/or community setting, under DDD guidelines.
